Jacklyn joined the LCWater team in the fall of 2023. Jacklyn is originally from central Illinois where she fostered her passion for agricultural law and natural resources. Jacklyn attended the University of Colorado, where she graduated with distinction as a chancellor’s achievement scholar. She earned her bachelor’s degrees in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology and History. She developed her passion for water rights at the University of Colorado and decided to attend law school at Emory University School of Law in Atlanta, Georgia. Jacklyn graduated from Emory with her certificate in Transactional Law and focused her studies on environmental and water law. Jacklyn built on her passion for environmental law by working as an extern for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (Region 4) during her second year of law school. As a summer intern, Jacklyn worked for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Office of Inspector General, where she continued to learn about federal environmental laws. During her last year of law school, Jacklyn worked for the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration. After law school, Jacklyn joined LC Water law and began her career as a water law attorney.
